Reviewer-supplied open access. Geological mapping of the Dhamtaur area (Eastern Hazara, Abbottabad): a ~1.5 km Precambrian-to-Eocene succession in which the Permian and Triassic are missing, so the Jurassic Samana Suk Formation rests unconformably above the Precambrian Hazara Formation, overlain by Chichali, Lumshiwal and Kawagarh (Cretaceous) and Nammal/Sakesar (Eocene); the Hazara Thrust carries Precambrian Hazara Formation over the Samana Suk Formation.
