FULL TEXT REVIEWED (born-digital). Foraminiferal biostratigraphy of the Korara Shale (Jakkher Group of HSC 1960; type locality Jakkher Lak, Map ref 35 O/2; measured at Goth Allah Baksh, Pab Range). Dark grey-olive shale with minor fine sandstone, ~460 m at Goth Allah Baksh, resting with apparent conformity on the Pab Sandstone and overlain by ~40 m limestone breccia (mixed Eocene-Oligocene, slumped). Basal 155 m Maastrichtian (Globotruncana stuarti, G. gansseri, Pseudotextularia elegans, Heterohelix navarroensis/globulosa/striata, Guembelitria cretacea, Zeauvigerina aegyptica); ranges up into the Paleocene (Montian) and locally the Lower Eocene - a transgressive facies spanning the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary. Supports adding the Korara Shale.
This page is the reverse of each unit's per-field citations — it shows exactly what this reference supports, making the dataset's “no source, no fact” rule browsable both ways.
