Correlate provinces

Pick two to four provinces and see their formations side by side on a shared geological time axis. Rows are time, so units at the same height are the same age; a blank cell means no rock of that age is recorded there — often a gap or unconformity.

Each formation is placed by its recorded period or epoch; intervals are not to scale (each row is equal height). Colours follow standard chart hues. Ages are approximate. Source: GSP Memoir Vol. 24.
