Ranikot Fort & Ranikot Group type area

The largest fort in the world by circumference wraps around the eroded hills of the Paleocene Ranikot Group type area, where the Khadro, Bara and Lakhra formations record the earliest Cenozoic marine transgression over the Deccan-related volcanics of the Indus basin.
