Suggest a correction

Spotted a wrong age, a mislabelled contact, or a fact that a better source revises? Propose a fix. Every correction must cite a published source — the same “no source, no fact” rule the dataset is built on — and each one is reviewed before it changes the data, then recorded as an attributed revision note.

The published work your correction rests on — author, year, title, and a DOI/page if you have one.

How corrections are handled

  • Sourced only: a correction without a citation can't be applied — that's the core rule of the dataset.
  • Reviewed, then recorded: newer or primary sources win on age/rank/name; the change is applied and kept as an attributed revisionNote, and where sources genuinely disagree both are preserved.
  • Credited: give your name and it's recorded with the note.
