Nowshera Devonian Reef
Khyber–Nowshera Belt · also Ghundai Sar / Nowshera reef complex
The Nowshera Formation preserves the only Devonian reef complex known in Pakistan — sandy dolomite and fossiliferous reef limestone dated by conodonts to the Early–early Late Devonian, giving the first firm Devonian ages south of the Main Karakoram Thrust.
