The youngest Triassic formation of the Salt Range, a honeycomb-weathering dolomite marking the top of the Triassic just below the Jurassic Datta Formation.

Marine carbonate sequence with characteristic honeycomb weathering. Represents shallow marine platform. Synonym: Chak Jabbi Limestone in Hazara. Part of the Musakhel Group.

Remarks

The uppermost Triassic unit of the Musa Khel Group, a shallow-marine platform dolomite with characteristic cellular (honeycomb) weathering that caps the Triassic and is overlain by the Early Jurassic Datta Formation across the Triassic-Jurassic transition; known as the Chak Jabbi Limestone in the Hazara area and a reservoir target in the Kohat-Potwar region.
